Raffles Hotels & Resorts, the prestigious luxury brand under Accor, has revealed plans to debut its first Italian property in the renowned Lake Como region. In collaboration with CL Hotel SPA and financial backing from UniCredit, Raffles Lake Como is slated to open its doors in 2027.

Raffles Lake Como: A Blend of Italian Elegance and Luxury
Situated along the exclusive western shore of Lake Como in Moltrasio, Raffles Lake Como will undergo a complete renovation of the historic Grand Hotel Imperiale, an art nouveau villa dating back to the 1920s. The property boasts one of the largest lakefronts in the region, offering unparalleled views.
The resort will feature 84 luxurious rooms, including 18 suites and two private villas, many with stunning lake vistas. Guests will enjoy the signature Raffles experience, including the renowned butler service. The property will also cater to social and corporate events, with expansive meeting spaces, grand gardens, and a magnificent lawn overlooking the lake—ideal for weddings and special celebrations.
Dining will include lakeside culinary offerings and a signature Raffles Long Bar and Writers Bar. The resort will provide a range of leisure amenities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a cutting-edge spa, a fitness center, and a beach club. Raffles Expands Its Global Footprint
Raffles Lake Como will be the brand’s fifth European property, joining the ranks of Raffles London at The OWO, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, Raffles Europejski Warsaw, and Raffles Istanbul. As part of its broader global growth strategy, Raffles has also announced new properties in Tokyo and Goa Shiroda, continuing its expansion in both urban and leisure destinations.
