The Meteora Monasteries in Greece have been recognized as one of the top value-for-money tourist attractions in Europe for 2025, ranking second only to Bulgaria’s Devetashka Cave, according to a recent study by hotel chain Premier Inn.
The study evaluated global attractions based on entrance fees and average tour durations to determine which sites offer visitors the most value per euro spent.
With an entrance fee of €6 and an average tour duration of five hours, the Meteora Monasteries provide an impressive value of €1.20 per hour. Leading the ranking, Devetashka Cave in Bulgaria offers an even lower cost per hour at €1.02.
The study continues with additional attractions offering exceptional value, reinforcing the appeal of budget-friendly travel experiences across Europe.
