Scores of music venues and festivals across Ireland have been nominated for the Irish Music Rights Organisation’s (IMRO) Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2025, recognizing their essential role in supporting local economies and providing a platform for songwriters, composers, and performers.

Among the nominees is When Next We Meet, a boutique music festival held at the picturesque Raheen House in Clonmel. The festival is thrilled to be nominated for the “IMRO Small Music Festival of the Year Award.”

Kate Twohig, producer and co-director of When Next We Meet, expressed her excitement over the nomination, saying, “The recognition from IMRO and our peers has come as a big surprise to us all. We’re humbled and proud. Running When Next We Meet from our hometown means a lot to us, and we’re fortunate to enter our fourth year with the support of our funders, partners, sponsors, and hosts at Raheen House. We also want to acknowledge our incredible crew and volunteers who make this possible. It’s a special moment for us and for Clonmel.”

The 2025 edition of When Next We Meet will take place on June 7th and 8th. The festival, known for its outstanding lineup of alternative Irish artists, will feature Villagers, Pillow Queens, and Morgana, with more acts to be announced soon.

Celebrated for its curation of top-tier Irish alternative music, When Next We Meet offers attendees an intimate experience in a stunning garden setting. Past performances have included renowned Irish acts such as Bell X1, Lisa Hannigan, Daithí, Ye Vagabonds, and Soda Blonde. The 2025 edition promises to continue this tradition with a carefully curated selection of acts.

Set in the stunning valley of Sliabh na mBan, When Next We Meet provides festival-goers with a unique festival experience, free from the need for tents or wellies. Guests can enjoy world-class music, local talent, artisanal food and drink, art, and a vibrant community atmosphere—all within the scenic backdrop of Raheen House.

Limited tickets for the 2025 festival, priced from €45.00 plus fees, are now available for purchase at whennextwemeet.

When Next We Meet is proudly supported by Camida, David Anchell, IMRO, Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Museum of Hidden History, Raheen House, and Beat 102 103.
